Lubbock: Texas' Newest "Brew City"

Lubbock: Texas' Newest "Brew City"

The Hub City's economy has boomed over the last 10 years. New businesses have made our city their home, welcoming various opportunities to shop, eat, stay, and play.

Among those are seven breweries serving delicious craft beer—three of them found in Downtown LBK—and we're getting the recognition we deserve.

Lubbock is the newest member of the Texas Craft Brewers Guild Brew City, Texas, program.

So, what is a Brew City?

Being named a Brew City, Texas, program member recognizes the municipality as one of the top craft beer destinations in the state of Texas.

The program, launched this year, aims to position the Lone Star State as a leader in craft beer-generated economic development and tourism.
