Newk’s Eatery

Newk's is a Mississippi-based casual restaurant chain that has finally opened its doors in Lubbock! Their menu has something for everyone, featuring quality, feel-good, comfort foods. Stop by for a bite to eat on the first floor of the McDougal Plaza.
Nashwell Cafe

Nashwell Cafe is one of the newest businesses in Downtown Lubbock, opening its doors in December of 2021. This Australian bakery café is run by an Aussie pastry chef and her husband, serving up delicious coffee and delivering a healthier take on your favorite sweets.
Cha-Cha’s Mexican Cafe

Authentic, family-style Mexican food is being served in Downtown Lubbock! Cha Cha’s Mexican Cafe brings fresh ingredients and family recipes to their delicious menu. This cafe is located in the old Hank’s Chicken building on Buddy Holly Avenue.
All American’s Mexican Hideout

The owners of All American Eatery are opening a brand new restaurant, All American's Mexican Hideout! If you've had their food before, then you understand the hype behind this opening. They will be located in the old Jimenez Bakery & Restaurant building.
Burklee Brew

With the great success that Burklee Hill has experienced since opening in Downtown Lubbock, owners have made plans to expand with the opening of Burklee Brew. They have acquired a nearby building to brew beer and begin this expansion.
We’re lining up to support these businesses in 2022 and the life and culture they bring to Downtown Lubbock! From new study spots for college students to great new lunch date places, we’re excited for all that these local spots will bring to our community.
